Abstract: This book consists of two short stories which are unrelated to each other. 'Summer Days' is about the summer that Alice Grey has with her family and friends at Sandy Shore. The second story, 'Down by the Sea' is about Hal and Dolly Brooks and their time by the sea, where there hear about adventures on ships from an old sailor as they looked out at the boats.
